After lyx installation the system prompts me: Optional dependencies for lyx texlive -latex3: pdf export. So I did install this package, but even then. eLyXer eLyXer is a program available in the software repositories as elyxer that converts a document in LyX format to a nicely formatted HTML document. Sweave – No information for exporting the format PDF (pdflatex). (too old to reply) I have just installed, Lyx/Sweave on ubuntu on an Asus eeepc article Sweave noweb that I get the error, so it seems an Sweave issue. Graham.

Exporting from LyX to MS Word and LibreOffice
Strangely, this problem fixed itself. It seems that a lot of the commonly needed converters and stylesheets even the ones used in LyX’s own manuals are missing. Another issue is the display resolution. Timmmm 2 3. So what I did was moving the ghostscript folder and the imagemagick folder from LyX 2. I had exactly the same problem for LyX 2.
If you aren’t able to fr the path, take a look at TeXWorks preferences, it should be there, in “Typesetting” tab, the first one in the list.
Who is online Users browsing this forum: I’ve also tried searching many forums online but they all seem to point to updating ghostscript, which doesn’t apply to me since I’m running the latest version. How do I configure LyX to export to these formats?

When I try to export to PDF it throws the error:. The tutorial now converts correctly to PDF no errors and images look correctmost images appear correctly in PS but some are not displayed correctly. I’m using brew, so I fixed this problem by removing imagemagic and installing the latest 6. Post as a guest Name. I see that it is currently recommended by LyX, and based on your statement ofr texlive- latex-recommend ed which is also recommended will be included by default, I presume this will too.
There isn’t even an option to export to LaTeX.
Sorry if I am breaking any subreddit rules asking this question, but unfortunately I am super short on time and have struggled to figure this out on my own. Thanks for the answer.
