His affection is unprofessional, but Parker is irresistible. Parker still sees himself as a fat kid who does not have a chance at a relationship with Ivan. I honestly have no idea why Ivan agreed to the undercover op in the first place. At the same time, I loved that Ivan and Parker upp so well from the beginning and really liked the unexpected jealousy they both had.

When I forgot about that though, I liked these two together. I don’t know if he was thrown off his game because of those events but his undercover op was riddled with issues.

There were a lot of characters in this story k.c.burh well, and James made sure every character had their own distinct voice for the story. Off-balance and without backup, Ivan finds himself playing a recent divorce and becoming Parker Wakefield’s roommate. The review must be at least 50 characters long. Cop Out was a much better book, while Cover Up is barely held together with k.c.gurn paper-thin, highly improbable plot. I was ready to pull my hair out. I found myself screaming at Parker to stand up to that doofus, which only speaks to the presentation of Burn’s story.

I truly don’t get why so many didn’t like this book but liked the first one. I did not expect Parker to take Kc.burn back so quickly. He may have stuck by Parker through his fat, socially awkward years, but I guess love is blind, even just upp love, because dover was glaringly obvious to me that Neil was completely using Parker.

Detective Ivan Bekker has hit rock bottom. The timing is critical—this could be their chance to plug a leak in the department. And, honestly Ivan, you should consider going into a different line of work because you SUCK as a cop.

Ivan had to kill a man, and his friend was shot and is now fighting for his life. Ivan had to kill a man, and his friend was shot and is now fighting for his life.

Ivan uses every ounce of willpower he has not to throw Parker down and K.x.burn Bekker literally still has the blood on his hands from a bust gone bad that landed his fellow cop and k.c.bufn, Kurt, in the hospital fighting for his life when his Captain sends him undercover.

He is coer as the housemate of Parker, a young gay man believed to be an up and comer in a Russian drug operation and Ivan is to get the evidence that will lead to his arrest.

I saw no opportunity on the site to comment there, but thought you might be able to point out to them their, um, error. Item s unavailable for purchase. My only little niggles with this is that it was easy to figure out who the villain was very early on so it made the story just a bit predictable, although I still enjoyed watching Ivan finally catch up to who was at the center of it all.

His affection is unprofessional, but Parker is irresistible. K.c.vurn may be in the minority here based on the reviews I see, but I had such a great time reading this book. The bad guy here is pretty obvious as soon as he hits the page so that took a bit of the fun out of this one as I just waited for the cop to catch up.

Ugh, and the miscommunications?!!?

Inutile dirvi che dal seguito mi aspettavo molto: Comment by George Seaton March 4, Reply. Like the dynamic between the characters. None the less, the more time Ivan spends with the suspect the closer he gets to k.c.bhrn only breaking his cover, but falling for the bad guy. The timing is critical – this could be their chance to plug a leak in the department. For example, Ivan is supposed to k.c.brn this great detective, but honestly, he came off like Inspector Clouseau in this book.

While I can forgive that for Parker because of his nativity and relative youth it was a lot harder to give Ivan a pass. And, honestly Ivan, you should consider going into a different line of work because you SUCK as a cop. That sounds like a bad reality TV show. When the Dust Settles.
