Had to study it like a bible. This book was very informative and had great tips for growing long hair. Very detailed and a great reference book especially if you are willing to put the time, energy and effort into the health of your hair. Frankly, the book is good for beginners, but for a more seasoned, well-informed natural, this book serves as little more than a moderately interesting pamphlet. It popped up between another book I am writing about caring for yourself. Chicoro gives her experience and recommendations of each stage which are very helpful when following the model. Sometimes the best advice comes not from experts and professionals but from someone who has trodden a path and gained experience, wisdom and understanding along the way that has tremendous merit and value.
