Just a few code line changes? Post 12 of Post 7 of Great buildquality, stylish and compact, long batterylife not as long as the D2 but still very long no Sonic Stage anymore, absolutely great sound quality. The worst thing I can say about it is that the documentation isn’t great- but any teenager can figure it out. I own the D2 and although the audio quality is high, it is a major hassle navigating the interface and it hates OGG files, though it plays them.

Both has its pros and cons. The long playback up to 52 hours is fantastic.
I don’t have a D2, but I still think the best solution would be to require installing on the SD card in the official build, and then mounting the internal storage as read only, secondary storage. Mark Zuckerberg on Facebook’s I use it to record meetings.

Some of them are not easy to configure with SD cards so I just leave my music on the internal storage. I don’t have the experience cowoh the other players, so I can only speak regarding the D2.
