View all 3 comments. This is one of those slow takes years moving stories where each guy loves each other but through misunderstanding don’t ever tell each other. The author needed to allow both characters to grow, become different, and instead the novel was basically a repeat of what had already happened. Some of it is dealing with what happened to Cory before, since the villain was never caught. You have just set us back decades in trying to protect the vulnerable and young. Jun 16, John Ames rated it really liked it.

I was totally fucked-up. Need I mention how utterly ridiculous and un-hero-like I find that mindset? I hope we might get a look into their future Is the information for this product incomplete, wrong or inappropriate? If you like a sweet romance, coming out, friends to lovers and some sweet, sensual, loving sex this is for you.
When push comes to shove, will the bonds of trust and love be enough to keep these two broken men together? For readers looking for a good story and those interested in seeing how a fairy tale can be incorporated into an engaging, suspenseful, heartstring-tugging contemporary romance, Mia Kerick’s Unfinished Business is a very good read.

Sure, there was a little more drama or melodrama around some of the after-effects of the horrible events. Why did the view spoiler [ rape hide spoiler ] have to happen? He had an alcoholic dad and he had cuoosers work to buy his personal belongings.

That changes, however, when he meets the unflappable Cory Choosera. If you loved that, I think there’s a good chance you’ll love Beggars and Choosers too. It takes the years of them being friends, and caring for each other to make Brett come out of his shell.
Cory’s smart and has a chance of making it in life. I know I’m the odd man out here, but I just couldn’t get past Brett’s voice not showing much growth and really beggras same went for Cory. I sure hope he will someday. Their beggara hearts ached for love and connection, and Ms. I know I was thinking Amy Lane when reading this. I felt my lips stiffen in that ever-present smirk.
